3. Former international players


Three former players associated with the club have represented their country.
Old Grammarian & Streatham born Bobby Brown represented England amateurs and participated in the 1960's Olympic representing Great Britain. He later turned professional turning out for Fulham, Watford and Cardiff City (scoring in the first round of the European Cup winners Cup in 1967).

Born in Balham, James (Jamie) Lawrence first played for Old Sinjuns in 1984 aged 14 representing the club until 1989. He went on make 276 league appearances representing Sunderland, Leicester (winning the league cup in 1997) and Bradford City. He represented Jamaica 24 times (1 goal) and in 2006 released his autobiography 'From Prison to Premiership'.

Another Balham native, Leroy Rosienor (MBE) represented Old Grammarian's second team as a school boy, before going on to have a professional career with Fulham, QPR and West Ham. He was an England youth, before switching his international allegiance to Sierra Leone, with whom he earned one international cap. His son Liam is also a professional footballer.
